Hollyland LARK MAX 2 Clip-On Wireless Microphone Transmitter (Space Gray, 2.4 GHz) Overview

Part of Hollyland’s LARK MAX 2 wireless system, the Wireless Microphone Transmitter is an ultracompact transmitter available as an individual component to expand your preexisting system or serve as a backup. It features a built-in omnidirectional microphone, built-in 32-bit float recording with timecode, and intuitive single-button operation.

Sleek and low-profile, the transmitter offers flexible placement using the included hidden magnetic clip. A furry windshield and charging dock are also provided for enhanced audio performance and convenience.

32-Bit Float Recording with Timecode Sync

The built-in recorder utilizes 32-bit float technology, ensuring pristine audio capture with a wide dynamic range. With 32-bit float, digital clipping is virtually eliminated, and quiet recordings can be safely normalized to usable levels without introducing noise—providing reliable backups for every take.

Equipped with 8GB of internal storage, the transmitter can record up to 14 hours of uncompressed, high-quality audio. This secure backup ensures that no critical audio is ever lost. It can also operate as a standalone recorder, capturing audio independently from a camera or smartphone—ideal for situations where wireless transmission might fail or be impractical.

An integrated, frame-accurate timecode system enables seamless synchronization between the recorded audio and camera footage. This eliminates the need for manual alignment and dramatically streamlines post-production, ensuring precise audio-to-video sync throughout your workflow.

Featherlight, Fashion-Friendly

Weighing just 0.5 oz and measuring only 0.4″ thin, the LARK MAX 2 transmitter/mic blends seamlessly into any outfit. Its ultra-slim, low-profile design won’t tug on fabric or alter your look—perfect for discreet, on-camera wear. A versatile magnetic clip ensures stable, comfortable placement, giving you total freedom to wear it your way.

Innovative hover-clip mechanism: say goodbye to bulky spring clips. The LARK MAX 2 introduces a sleek hover-clip design that snaps into place with a simple push and pull. Fast, easy, and secure—ideal for dynamic shoots where time and precision matter.

All-day comfort: engineered with a skin-friendly, excimer nano-coated finish, the transmitter feels smooth and soft against the skin. Designed for long hours of wear, it offers all-day comfort without compromise.
